What is Bento?

  • A Bento box is a very popular, single-portion take-out or home-packed meal of Japanese origin. A traditional Bento has separate, compartmented sections that may contain rice or noodles with fish or meat, often with pickled and cooked vegetables.
  • Meant to be a convenient way to have a portable meal in one container, Bento boxes are traditionally served cold. In our festive Bento boxes, we present you with a veritable tasting menu of Japanese specialties for a harmonious blend of the flavors of daily Japanese cuisine. Our artisanal DenToGo Bento boxes are filled to the brim with high-quality ingredients and stellar presentation.
    • If you prefer to warm the cooked items at home, it’s possible to move those items you wish to heat to a microwave-safe dish and heat for 30-60 seconds.
    • Be sure not to heat the sashimi/raw fish, sushi or sushi rolls, for the best results!
